Siberian cat authorised colour
The Siberian cat's base colours are black, red, and white, which can vary in shades if the cat carries the dilution gene: for example, red becomes cream, black becomes blue, and so on. This beautiful cat therefore comes in a wide range of colours: black, blue-brown, gray, red, gold, cream, white, and more. White markings may also be present in the coat. Cinnamon, lilac, chocolate, and fawn with pinkish hues are not permitted. The silver/smoke colour is defined by a white base to a height of a few centimetres, while the rest of the fur is another colour. The term "smoke" is reserved for solid-coloured cats, while "silver" is reserved for tabby cats.

If the cat has a solid colour without any visible pattern, it is called solid . If, on the other hand, patterns are visible, it is a tabby.

Thanks to the cat's genealogy (pedigree), and/or a DNA test, we can determine the potential colours of the kittens to be born when we mate two individuals.
